Help With Utility Bills
Hello residents of the Village of Bay View. We are headed for some cold weather starting today. Anyone that might experience trouble with winter utility bills, Marcy Kaptur has sent us the following information that may help your household. (CLICK ON PICTURES FOR FULL VIEW)

Thank You
Thank You For Your Service
The Village of Bay View would like to Thank all Veterans for your Service. Thank you for your Sacrifice, your Bravery and the Example you have set for all. Most of All we Thank You for Our Freedom.
Fall Chores
The Village will be wrapping up with the chipping of branches this week and next. As you can see the leaves are starting to fall. We will be starting with the leaves approximately the 2nd week of November and continuing as long as weather permits. Please make bigger piles instead of long rows, as this makes it easier for the maintenance guys. Place them near the road and DO NOT put any grass, branches, stones or anything other than leaves in the pile. Any piles that have other than leaves will NOT be picked up. As a reminder the yard waste dumpster will also be open for you to place your leaves in, if you so desire. Happy raking!
Public Hearing
There will be a Public Hearing Tuesday November 5, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Village Hall. The Council Meeting will be at 7 pm following the Public Hearing. The Hearing is for Zoning changes. The changes will be the adding of language to cover Transient Rentals and changing the front set-back on construction to 20 feet from 15 feet. The rear set-back will remain at 15 feet. The first proposal was voted down as Council did not agree on the 20 foot set-back in the rear.
Thank you
