Village of Bay View looking for permanent part-time Maintenance/Maintenance Helper. We are willing to train the right person for this position. We are looking for someone with a mechanical understanding and someone who can listen and carry-out detailed instructions. You will need to be familiar with zero-turn mowers as mowing will be one of the many duties. You will be responsible for emptying trash on the bridge, bay front and park. You will be feeding brush into a grinder machine from time to time throughout the summer months. You will be vacuuming leaves in the fall months. You will be trained to run the snowplow for plowing snow in the winter months. A mechanical background will be a plus but as the ad states we are willing to train the right person. The hours for this position will be 7am-3pm or 8am-2pm whichever the applicant desires. Once you are trained and established the days will be 3 days per week Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. The rate of pay is $15.00 per hour and you will be set-up with PERS deductions as you will be a public employee. We are offering steady employment year round with a chance at more hours in the future. This position will be great for someone wanting to get established in the maintaining of our beautiful Village.
